You can see the creek from every window in the house and from anywhere on the verandah. You can watch the platypus feeding from the verandah most evenings.
The farmhouse and grounds are located in a valley surrounded by green fields and further back, the macadamia plantation, reminiscent of italian olive groves. There are also some grass paddocks and remnant rainforest and the property leads down to Emigrant creek.
From the top of the property there are views of the Pacific Ocean.
The farm is located 20 mins from Byron Bay, 10 mins from Bangalow and Ballina and 5 mins from the beaches of Lennox head. It is an hours drive to the Gold Coast and 2 hours drive to Brisbane. Sydney is 9 hours drive away, Ballinas airport, 10 mins drive.
